The preferred form for upcoming events, to benefit both fans and promoters, is this:

Promotion Name (full name please, not just initials)
Event Name (if there is one)
Date and time of the show
Location (City, State) and address to venue
Lineup, who's scheduled to appear, etc.
Ticket Information
Website/contact info

Please do not send me an email saying that "Upcoming Event info is on our site". It would take me too much time to visit every site and take the info from there. That and it's a lot of work to ask someone to do when they are trying to help you.


Here's an example:

Indy Wrestling News Federation
Presents "Indymania"
April 11, 2008 at 8pm with doors opening at 7:30pm
Indyville, Indiana at the Indyville National Guard Armory (6253 Indy Street)

No Disqualification
Heavyweight title
Wrestler 1 (champion) vs. Wrestler 2

Wrestle 3 vs. Wrestle 4

etc.

Tickets are $10 when ordering in advance, $12 at the door and can be ordered at www.IndyWrestlingNews.com or by calling (555) 555-5555

I welcome promoters to add more information if they'd life. If you've already got something written up that has all the important information you can just send that in. These are not strict guidelines for inclusion, only recommendations to benefit fans and promoters alike.
