On Friday October 1st All Stars Wrestling of Florida held their weekly show at Strokers Billiards, 11236 W. Hillsborough Ave. in Tampa, Florida.

(1) Paradox defeated Josh Rayne of the Virus w/guest referee Dan Moziak.
This match came about after both men brawled all over the building in the aftermath of the battle royal last week. ASW management gave them a forum to vent their frustration which began as Rayne jumped Paradox at ringside. The fight came into the ring with Rayne hitting a forearm to the corner but missing a missile dropkick. Rayne recovered and locked in a rear chinlock that Paradox fought out only to be hit with several kicks to the head. Paradox fought out of Sliced Bread and got a roll up for two. The two men traded kicks to the head and both fell to the canvas. Rayne got to his feet first and hit Sliced Bread and slapped the referee after what he called a slow count. Moziak entered the ring and counted down Rayne after Paradox hit a DVD.

(2) Damien Angel defeated Wayne Van Dyke.
This match also came out of last week’s battle royal that Angel won thanks to some chicanery. Angel and Van Dyke got into some chain wrestling but Wayne looked to be having some mental issues and stepped outside for a private consultation. Vane Dyke came back in only to be peppered with body shots. Van Dyke recovered and got Angel down on the mat to work over the neck. Some choking was involved and he was admonished by the official. The fans got behind Angel has he tried to fight back from the chokes only to be hit with a tornado DDT for two. Van Dyke went back to the choking risking a DQ. Angel countered a waistlock into a spinning back suplex for two. Just as Van Dyke was tapping out in an ankle lock, Don Maximo came out to the ring causing a distraction. But when Van Dyke went to attack Angel, he hit Maximo. This allowed Angel to hit the Money Clip for the win. Maximo slid into the ring and attacked Angel with his retractable billy club. Commissioner Don Vincent came to ringside and demanded Maximo cease and desist. Finally Maixmo left ringside as officials helped Angel to the locker room.

(3) In a Second Chance Match: “The Encore” Aaron Epic defeated “Dancing Machine” Bobby Fonta. As result Epic wins earns a second chance at the ASW Heavyweight championship. The match began with some feeling out moves with neither man gaining control until Epic blocked an armdrag and dropped Fonta to the mat in a way that jammed Fonta’s left arm into the mat. Epic went right to work on the injury with a key lock and several kicks to the shoulder. Fonta fought back only to be clotheslined back to the mat and Epic locked in a Crossface. Fonta fought off submission and got his foot on the bottom rope. The action resumed with Fonta taking it to Epic with a backslide for two followed by a several near fall pin combinations. Fonta hit a bulldog and a Rock Bottom. Fonta went up top but Biff Slater came out so Fonta jumped to him instead. When he came back to the ring, Fonta was double legged by Epic into a pin.

After the match Slater taunted Fonta telling him it was his last chance at the ASW Florida Elite championship.

ASW Tag Team champion “the Prodigy” Mike Cruz (wearing a neckbrace) made his way to the ring to address the fans. Cruz was in noticeable pain as he told the fans about last week’s Bar Room Brawl match. Cruz asked for Commissioner Don Vincent to enter the ring where Cruz berated him for the brawl. Cruz claimed Vincent was just as responsible for the injury as the Highwaymen who came to the ring to interrupt the conversation. They had what looked like hospital paperwork that said Cruz was cleared to wrestle and they wanted their rematch right now. Instead Commissioner Vincent offered the NuYoRicans.

(4) The Highwaymen (Marc Mandrake & Butch Long w/Star Stevens) defeated NuYoRicans (Ramos & Carlos w/D. Lee & friends)
The entourage at ringside was not happy as Long beat down Ramos with several forearms to the back. Carlos tagged in and went move for move with Mandrake fairing well. That was until Mandrake got to a vertical base and hit a slam. The Highwaymen kept Carlos isolated for several minutes until Long took his focus off Carlos to yell at the entourage. That allowed Carlos to slide to the floor. Long followed and was decked with a Ramos clothesline and Lee got in some kicks as Carlos kept the referee busy. Once the NuYoRicans could drag Long’s body into the ring, they began dissecting Long’s back. Long fought back several times and reversed a suplex then countered out of a Ramos piledriver. Long crawled and tagged in a very energetic Mandrake. After some double teaming, the Highwaymen dispatched of the NuYoRicans. They again demanded Commissioner Vincent grant a rematch against FXE.

ASW Florida Elite champion Biff Slater came out to tell the fans that last week he once again proved that despite the odds against him, he walked out champion. Slater asked for Commissioner Vincent to send out anyone to face him, he got Super Grover.

(5) In a non-title match, Super Grover defeated ASW Florida Elite champion Biff Slater of the FXE.
Grover did the smart thing and went on the attack. That ended when Slater hit the POUNCE!! Slater followed up with a Beal that sent Grover nearly back to Sesame Street. Grover went for a cross bodyblock only to be hit with a running powerslam. But Slater picked up Grover before the three count. Bobby Fonta came out and got Slater’s attention long enough to allow Grover to get a shocking school boy rollup victory.

Commissioner Don Vincent came to the ring to address the crowd and help celebrate some birthdays. He was interrupted by Wayne Van Dyke who complained once again about last week’s “screwing” in the battle royal. Van Dyke asked for a “proper opponent.” The Commissioner obliged with the next match.

(6) “The 7 ft Korean Monster” Ryze defeated Wayne Van Dyke.
Ryze went right to work with chest chops and a backbreaker that ended the match in near record time.

Needless to be said, “The Infamous” Eddie Taurus was greeted by a wall of boos for his actions last week with new friend “the Essential” Eric Cooper. Taurus ripped the new ASW Heavyweight champion Simon Sez for his actions in recent weeks.

(7) “The Infamous” Eddie Taurus defeated Eddie Brock of the American Gangstas.
Before the bell Taurus jumped Brock on the floor and the brawling was on. Brock fought back as they fought around ringside and over to the pool tables. Finally the match came into the ring where Taurus pinned Brock with a spinebuster.

After the bell Taurus tossed Brock to the floor and called out Teigen James who also got involved in the main event.

(8) “The Infamous” Eddie Taurus defeated Teigen James.
The match picked up right where the previous one did, with Taurus kicking butt and his opponent suffering in pain. However James countered out of the Burning Hammer with an armdrag and ten punches in the corner. They were cut off by Taurus and a backbreaker for two. Taurus hit a ringside fan with a slap for taunting his child and it allowed James time to recover. James went up top but Taurus cut him off by falling into the ropes. Taurus hit the Burning Hammer like move to gain the win.

After the match Taurus bragged about his wins and assault on the fan. Taurus went back to beating on James as Big Zay came to the ring to question what has happened to Taurus. Zay wanted to know what was going on in Taurus’ head. Taurus couldn’t look at Zay as he was questioned several times. Taurus snapped when Zay asked if, “This was the example he wanted to set for his child.” Simon Sez’s ring music played and Taurus looked to the entryway. But Sez was sitting ringside wearing a Luchadore mask and attacked Taurus. The entire ASW locker room emptied out to separate the fighting that went all around ringside for several minutes. When things settled down both Sez and Zay wanted to get their hands on Taurus.

To have a change of pace the World’s Largest All Nighters (Joey Knight & Shooter Storm) came out to wish Robin Sparrow a happy birthday with some singing and dancing.
