In somewhat surprising news long time Ring of Honor booker Gabe Sapolsky is gone from the promotion. Sapolsky's tenure with the ROH ended last night in Edison, NJ after owner Cary Silkin decided to take the company in a different direction. Sapolsky had become synonymous with the company following former owner Rob Feinstein's departure following an internet sting on child predators, and is credited for it's growth over the last 6½ years. During his tenure with the company Sapolsky had won the Wrestling Observer's Booker of the Year award for the last four years in a row and played a major role in shaping ROH both publicly and behind the scenes.

The company, as of now, has not canceled any events and they are expected to continue on as planned. Their next shows are 11/7 in Toronto and 11/8 in Montreal. Owner Cary Silkin has remained tight lipped regarding a possible replacement, nor has he commented on what caused him to make his decision. Gabe Sapolsky has also not publicly released a statement.

There are a lot of rumors being reported elsewhere, most of which are either flat out false or completely unsubstantiated, regarding the situation. It's probably best not to speculate on such rumors and to wait for reputable news sources to shed more details.

We'll have more information as we get it.
