CTWE (Connecticut Wrestling Entertainment) Crystal's Pub & Bar Bristol, CT 10/25/2008 RA: Bill Brown Ref: Tony, James Attendance: About 75-80 Bell time was roughly 7:40pm. The opening match saw Mr. Williams go over Anthony Battle in a very hard fought back in forth matchup to get the crowd warmed up. Second, we had Chris Mooch defeat Pat Gunner in singles competition. After the match, Gunner laid out Mooch, allowing Lukas Sharp and Andy Sweet to run in and capitalize. This caused Johnny Ramirez to run out and make the save of his fallen partner, and soon enough, and impromtu tag team match up was under way. But in the end however, this time Chris Mooch was not as successful, as he and his partner Johnny fell victim to Lukas Sharp and Andy Sweet. Up next saw Vicious V make his wrestling debut against DC Hannon in the fourth match of the evening. Although Hannon seemed to be feeding off of the crowd in this one as the underdog, in the end it wasn't enough to get the victory. Vicious V is now 1-0 in his professional wrestling career. The fifth match saw KC Jacobs against Steve Loveland. Loveland received an amazing response from the crowd, and an even bigger one when he went back through the curtain and came back out with, surprise surprise... FREE CANDY!!! This was very much to the crowd's delight and definately got them behind him even more so than they already were. The finish saw KC Jacobs flatlining Loveland into the second buckle and then giving him a jumping complete shot for the 1-2-3. After the match, KC got on the mic and cut a promo about how big and bad he is, blah blah blah. No one seemed to care. One person imparticular, Joey Bricco's girlfriend Kathleen, seemed to find his speech especially entertaining as she was laughing at what KC Jacobs was saying in the ring. This did not set well for KC, as he then started to harass Kathleen and eventually ended up provoking her to get into the ring. He then backed her into a corner and continued to verbally assault her until FINALLY Joey Bricco made the save. Bricco rushed in and attacked KC, delivering a codebreaker to him in the middle of the ring. This however was not as effective as Bricco had hoped it would be though, as when he went to pick KC back up to deliver the Stroke, he ended up receiving a rake to the eyes instead. As Jacobs turned around to taunt to the crowd for his actions he unexpectedly received a Stone Cold Stunner, or should I say, Merch Girl Stunner, from Kathleen to many of the fans delight! Next was intermission. It lasted about 15+ minutes. A lot of the fans were seen buying merch, along with tickets for the 50/50 raffle. To open back up from intermission we saw Bobby Ocean against Eddy Latham. Latham really had the crowd behind him in this one and looked like he was going to pull off the upset. However, the finish saw Bobby Ocean delivering a devastating heart punch followed up by a piledriver to get the win. In the seventh match of the evening, BMT took on Dan de Man in singles action. This was also a very entertaining bout, that saw BMT get the win over Dan de Man. And in the MAIN EVENT, Nocturne took on the Arc Angel Christopher Battle. This was easily the MOTN and had the crowd really into the whole thing. After several false finishes, the end came for Chris Battle, as Nocturne was able to deliver his patented Package Piledriver to get the pinfall victory! www.myspace.com/ctwrestlingentertainment CTWE plans on returning to action at Crystal's shortly after the holiday season in mid-late January.
