SHIMMER - WOMEN ATHLETES returns to live action on Sunday, November 8th, 2009 at the Berwyn Eagles Club (6309 26th Street) in Berwyn, IL, just outside Chicago. Bell time is 2pm. Doors open at 1pm. This event will celebrate SHIMMER's 4th Anniversary, as Volumes 27 & 28 of the SHIMMER DVD series will be filmed during the course of the event.
Front row seating to November 8th is already SOLD OUT. General admission seating is still available, at a cost of $20 plus $1 shipping per ticket. International star AYAKO HAMADA debuts for SHIMMER - WOMEN ATHLETES as part of SHIMMER's "4th Anniversary Celebration" tapings on Sunday, November 8, 2009, at the Berwyn Eagles Club (6309 26th Street) in Berwyn, IL, just outside Chicago!
AYAKO HAMADA - Height: 5'4" Weight: 143 lbs. Hometown: Mexico City, Mexico. Pro Debut: August 1998. Ayako Hamada has been one of the premier female professional wrestlers worldwide for much of the past decade. Mainly competing in Mexico and Japan thus far in her career, Hamada brings an exciting blend of wrestling styles to the squared circle. The daughter of wrestler Gran Hamada, Ayako's championship accolades include capturing the Queen of ARSION title in late 2000, winning the prestigious WWWA singles championship in All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling during 2003, and becoming AAAW champion in GAEA during 2004. In recent years, Hamada has put much of her focus on competition in Mexico, including an impressive run with AAA. She recently inked a deal with TNA Wrestling in the United States, and is now poised to capture the attention of the U.S. wrestling world. Ayako Hamada makes her mark in SHIMMER rings beginning November 8th!
