11/23 - Callihan vs. Havoc to wage war at Cage of Death XI!

This is not a new rivalry. This isn’t a recent issue. This isn’t much of anything but pure hatred between two men. This is also not the first time these two men will face off in the Cage of Death. It will be the first time two men have been in the Cage start to finish since 2002.

Sami Callihan and Danny Havoc first met in a wrestling ring at Cage of Death 10. Neither were the victor but this isn’t a new experience for the two especially since Danny Havoc has been involved in the Cage in the last 2 matches. Havoc was the last man standing two years ago and last year saw his potential opponent disappear before the match was going to happen. This year it seems like Danny Havoc has disappeared (or kidnapped considering who you ask) himself and isn’t guaranteed to be there.

Sami’s 2009 started by defeating Greg Excellent, Brain Damage & Jon Dahmer and then moved on to Drake Younger, Trent Acid, Carter Grey, Ryan McBride before defeating Scotty Vortekz & Eddie Kingston. During this time Danny Havoc was in and out of CZW, appearing occasionally. When DJ Hyde announced that he had purchased CZW the first main event scheduled for his first show was Danny Havoc against Sami Callihan in a Devil Wears Prada Death Match for Havoc’s UVU Title. Havoc defeated Callihan but what got everyone talking was what Callihan’s reaction was after the match. Afterwards he pulled out his Switchblade and attempted to end Havoc’s life. Luckily for Havoc he was saved by CZW Security & Staff alike but did end up suffering a deep laceration that kept him from appearing in October.

A match was scheduled for TOD: REWIND for these two men to face off once again for Havoc’s UVU Title. In a “Caribbean Pits of Death Match” Havoc had Callihan pinned when Joe Gacy interfered and it led to Callihan winning the UVU Title before later dropping the title to Thumbtack Jack. It became obvious that Callihan’s goal was to take Havoc’s life away from him. Daniel T. Havoc doesn’t like that. Havoc responded to Callihan’s threats in Philly when Callihan tried to do the same thing to xOMGx. Callihan backed off when Havoc produced a weapon of his own, a barbed wire baseball bat. Havoc than preceded to put a 3 inch hole in Joe Gacy’s head with a Christmas ball.

Now it looks like from CZWrestling.Com that Sami Callihan has no intention of going into the Cage with Danny Havoc. Callihan and Joe Gacy attacked Havoc after Night of Infamy and they were last seen driving off with Havoc in the trunk of a car. If CZW fans are familiar with Daniel T. Havoc, and I know they are, nothing will stop Havoc from being in that ring on December 12th, 2009 across from Sami Callihan. Also, CZW will be on hand selling tickets for Cage of Death at November 28th's DRAGON GATE USA event at the Arena in South Philly.
