www.ewamaryland.com In front of a packed house which many compared to the TBS Studio shows currently airing on WWE 24/7, EWA returned to their pro wrestling training center in Middle River, MD to present another exciting FREE card. IN THE 1st ROUND OF THE MARYLAND TITLE TOURNAMENT Zack Matthews defeated the Baltimore Butcher Zachary Shane defeated Champ Champagne Chase Rawlings defeated Darth X In the upset of the year, Adam Carelle defeated Tyler Hilton. Carelles original opponent, Cole Calloway, could not make it to the building and Tyler Hilton was a last minute substitute. Hilton had control of the match until the sound guy hit EWA Heavyweight Champion LKs music and Hilton turned his attention to the entrance way. This allowed Carelle to come from behind for a rollup and the win. The 2nd round of the tournament will see Shane vs Matthews and Carelle vs Rawlings nEs defeated Jesus and Judas EWA Cruiserweight Champion Jimmy Starz defeated Thomas Wentworth Bentley The EWA Matchmaker was announcing to the crowd that EWA Heavyweight Champion LK and EWA Tag Team Champions Teddy Stigma and Ryan McBride will be doing a special meet and greet session at the Essex Day Fair on September 21st when Marcus Dowling came out to interrupt him. Dowling again criticized the matchmakers preference over "Lilly White Crackers" and insisted that his side get some action. The matchmaker offered to discuss this with Dowling in the back when two large 350 pound africans came from the outside of the building and ran the matchmaker into the ring. Just as Dowling and his pair of beasts cornered the matchmaker, Ryan & Teddy cleared the ring. Marcus announced that these are his new finds, The Nigerian Nightmares. Ryan & Teddy demanded a match later that night and the matchmaker gave them what they and the fans wanted. JD "Bamm Bamm" Roberts and John Berg went to a no contest DJ Hyde defeated Psycrotes Big Art defeated Andrew Steele EWA Tag Team Champions Ryan McBride & Teddy Stigma defeated The Nigerian Nightmares in a wild contest. This match saw Marcus Dowling and Protege interfere, Ryan & Teddy hit HUGE dives to the floor and the fans were nearly coming over the barricade to get Dowling and his men. After the match, the tag champs stayed in the ring for nearly 30 minutes taking pictures and signing autographs with the fans. Another great night of action and we want to thank EVERYONE who spent their Friday night with us!!!
