There was alot of no shows but Ian more than made up for it by putting on a tremendous show.  Axl Rotten, JC Ice, and Billy Joe Travis all were unable to make the show so that affected the two main events of Rottens vs. Gilbert and Travis and Bull vs. JC.  Ian also had to announce to the crowd that Blaze has had to quit the business because of his girlfriend.  She stormed out of the IWA arena a couple of weeks ago when Blaze was put through a table by Travis and she told him to quit wrestling and he listened.  It is a shame because Blaze had alot of talent and potential.  Ian has picked Pitbull 2 to be his partner to defend the NWA US Tag Team titles on the November 4th anniversary show against Dougie and an opponent to be named later.

The first match of the evening was one of the best matches I have seen in a long time between Terek the Great and Cash Flo.  The match started with some good mat wrestling with some duck under go behinds and reversals.  Cash gained control with a DDT but Terek came back by ducking a clothesline and hitting a spin kick.  The two then did some more amateur style moves and Terek tossed Cash Flo outside the ring.  Terek followed with a tope through the ropes to the floor.  He tossed Cash back into the ring and hit him with a top rope dropkick to the back.  Cash Flo regained momentum and hit a slingshot suplex but Terek returned the favor with a vicious looking brainbuster.  Terek then got a chair and whacked Cash Flo a few times and again tossed him to the floor.  Terek then connected with a triple jump chairshot to the floor.  Terek rolled Cash back into the ring and hit the Arabian facebuster.  Cash Flo kicked out and eventually was able to hit a Liger dropkick in the corner. Terek was able to retake control and won with a great Northern Lights Bom (Michinoku Driver) off the top rope.  Great four star match to start the show and Terek received a huge pop from the crowd for his effort.

The second match was a showcase of the fans.  Brett King faced Shark Boy in a 10 minute plus long match that was dominated by the crowd's chants. Shark Boy wins with a top rope dropkick after being dominated most of the match.

The third match was the lumberjack match between Flash Flanigan and Tracy Smothers.  The lumberjacks were Ian, Cash, Shark Boy, Bull Pain, Les Thatcher, Brett King, and Terek.  This was another great "wrestling" match between these two.  Last week was great and this week may have even been better.  The first 10 minutes was a feeling out process and getting used to the lumberjacks and being thrown out and thrown back which built the match well.  Tracy hit a reverse Russian Leg Sweep that set off the flurry of moves.  Tracy hit a belly to belly suplex and then a spin kick.  He threw Flash into the corner but Flash jumped up to the second rope and came off with a Buff Bagwell blockbuster on Tracy.  Tracy was able to regain the upper hand and hit his top rope back elbow and went for the pin.  Bull Pain jumped up to the apron and distracted Tracy.  Bull tossed Flash a chain and he hit Tracy with it and then a huge brawl broke out between the lumberjacks and the ref was distracted. Doug Gilbert came from the back and sprayed something onto a towel and put it over Tracy's face knocking him out.  Flash was able to get the pin and the heels ran for cover.  Ian got in the ring and announced that the new main event for the night would be Tracy & Ian vs. Flash & Dougie.

Match 4 saw the early return of Mad Man Pondo due to all the no shows as he faced Bull Pain.  This was a brutal brawl that included the ONLY blood of the night which came from Pondo.  They hit each other with a chair, DDTs on the floor, suplexes on the floor, centons off the apron onto the floor, clotheslines off the apron to the floor and other high impact moves.  Shortly after the announcement of the 10 minute mark being reached in the match Pondo went up top for his centon onto Bull who was sitting in a chair.  Flash came out from the lobby and pushed Pondo off the top rope.  Bull hit the belly to back suplex and then the Painkiller for the win.

The main event was awesome.  All four men worked the mic before the match got underway drawing great heat from the crowd.  Ian started the match with a great belly to belly throw on Dougie.  The heels then went into full stalling mode.  Ian was able to hit the Fisherman's Buster on Flash.  Dougie hit a piledriver on Tracy and then went into having Dark Patriot flashbacks as he went up top and hit a scud missle.  The second time he missed though and crashed to the canvas.  Dougie hit Tracy with some powder to buy some time for recovery but Ian ran in and gave a TBone Suplex and the Northern Lights Bomb and went for the pin.  The ref was either distracted or knocked down by this point and Bull Pain came out and jumped off the top rope and hit Ian in the back of the head with his NWA US Tag title belt.  Flash gets the pin while Dougie holds onto Tracy on the floor.  Dougie and Flash head for the hills and Ian gets on the mic.  He complains to the ref that he got screwed.  Ian gives the curtain call brainbuster to the ref.  Then the wildest thing that I have ever seen occurred.

My friend Ben Rich is a ham that writes for the UK school newspaper and is a (cheap) heat magnet that loves to act like a fool.  He has run his mouth the last couple of weeks at the arena shows.  Ever since Dougie has returned, Ben has cheered wildly for him when just earlier this year he hated Doug Gilbert. What a difference a couple of months can make.  Last night, Ben was really laying it in on Ian after Ian lost the main event.  He was calling him a "whiner" and a "loser" for complaining to the ref.  He made crude comments all through the main event match.  He chanted "boring" most of the night and got up and stormed out a few times to the lobby.  After Ian floored the ref, he turned his attention to Ben.  Ben still refused to calm down and Ian challenged him to get in the ring. The crowd began a thunderous "Get in the ring" chant and Ben turned to a group of fans and said "@#$% you".   After Ben said a few choice words to Ian, he took him up on his offer and jumped into the ring.  Ian hit him with a kick to the back as Ben entered the ring and the crowd about exploded.  Ian then hit the Double Arm DDT on Ben and hit him over the back with a chair.  The crowd was going wild and started the "you @#$%$# up" chant.  There was fans waiting outside for us when we left and we had to be escorted to our car by the security guards because the fans were yelling at Ben.  It was one of the wildest things I have ever seen.

This was a great show and I can't wait to see what happens in the coming weeks as the Doug Gilbert-Ian Rotten feud continues to grow.  Dougie vs. Ian is being built into a huge angle that has been great so far.
