Ian started off the October 7th IWA card with a tribute to Brian Pillman. There was a moment of silence and a ten bell salute after Ian said a few words about the life and career of Pillman. The first match of the evening saw Ox Harley face the up and coming Shark Boy. Ox Harley dominated the entire match but kept pulling Shark boy up at the count of two. Ox pummeled Shark Boy with a chair and then hit him with a slop drop. Instead of going for the pin, Ox went up top for his finisher the moonsault. Ox misses and Shark Boy sharked up and was prime for victory. Shark Boy climbed to the top rope and Ox went for a chair. Ox turned around and Shark Boy hit him with a dropkick into the chair from the top rope for the pinfall. Kung Fu Fighting started to play from the PA system and that could only mean that Billy the P was on his way out. The second match was Cash Flo with Billy vs. Rollin Hard for the TV title. These two put on a good match. Cash Flo controlled the opening moments and hit a reverse Russian Leg Sweep and a pedigree. Rollin recovered and went on the offensive. He used a chair and drew a small amount of blood from Cash. He followed up with a sideslam and then got the win when he picked up Cash for a powerbomb and then just dropped Cash down with a Hot Shot on the top rope. Good match and Rollin Hard is still the IWA World TV champion. The third match saw a fifteen minute plus wrestling classic between Tracy Smothers and Flash Flanigan. Tracy dedicated the match to Pillman and the action was underway. The whole match was pure wrestling with both men exchanging high impact style kicks. Flash did a springboard dropkick and a Buff Bagwell Blockbuster. Flash then went for a tumbleweed legdrop from the top and missed and Tracy rolled him up for the win. Flash attacked Tracy after the match and Ian came out for the save. Tracy will face Flash next week in a lumberjack match. The next match was one of the three preludes to the main event. Billy Joe Travis faced off against JC Ice. Billy tried to start the match with his imaginary chain from the tights again. The crowd began to chant "Jailbird" at Billy Joe so JC went outside the ring and got on the mic. He proceeded to explain to the crowd what happened to Billy Joe while he was in jail and it was a funny story but an unrepeatable one :-) This match also concentrated on wrestling until the ref was knocked out accidentally by JC. Bull Pain came out and hit JC with a chain and Billy Joe was able to get the pinfall. Axl Rotten then took on Bull Pain. Axl received a great pop from the crowd on his way to the ring. Bull would roll out of the ring after every Axl move for the first few minutes of the match and draw great heat from the crowd. Axl hit Bull with a drop toe hold onto a chair and then the brawl was on. Bull gained control and hit his top rope splash but Axl was able to kick out. JC came out and nailed Bull with a piece of dry wall and Axl hit a DDT for the win. The sixth match was the last singles match before the big 6 man tag main event. Ian Rotten tried for revenge on Doug Gilbert with Debbie Combs. Dougie had turned on Ian last week at the tv taping. Dougie got on the mic and proclaimed himself the king of Kentucky and told Ian that he should leave the state. Good match as Ian brings out the best in Dougie. Ian hit a belly to belly suplex early and then followed up with a superplex. Debbie interfered and distracted Ian and allowed Dougie to take over the match. He hit a piledriver and a superkick. Dougie then took off his boot and hit Ian with it. Dougie then proceeded to bash him a few more times at the request of a fan in the front row. Ian was bleeding but fought back to get the upper hand until Debbie Combs interfered again and hit him with her shoe. Dougie hit the slop drop and got the pin. The main event was just absolutely wild as Ian, Axl and JC Ice teamed up to take on Bull Pain, Billy Joe Travis, and Gilbert. Chairs, chains, and tables were used in this match. Billy Joe and JC were the only ones not to be cut in this match. Ian put Bull through a table with an elbow from the apron to the floor. Bull later DDTd Ian on the broken table. The faces controlled most of the match and they put all of the heels into a Fujiwara armbar and then into Code Reds. The ring cleared out except for Ian and Dougie and those two went at it. Ian ended up gaining a pinfall on Dougie with a Double Arm DDT. Ian got on the mic and proclaimed Doug Gilbert to be a disgrace to his family and challenged Dougie to find a partner to face the Bad Breed next week. Dougie said he would be happy to beat on the Rottens and agreed to the match after going at it again with Ian. JC and Bull then got into it on the mic as JC reminded Bull that his daddy Bill Dundee had his exwife Samantha. Jamie and Bull will wrestle next week as well.
