(Editors note: This event was run by Mike Quackenbush and not the Smart Mark Video crew.) Thanks largely to the efforts of MIKE QUACKENBUSH and TIM "CRUTCH GUY" WALKER, the Future Wrestling Alliance returned to action at Exeter High School in Reading, PA, with a card featuring some of the best of independent wrestling stars from central and western Pennsylvania as well as from Maryland. The show was held to benefit the Exeter High School volleyball team. Attendance estimated at 150-175. Sound engineering was provided by EHS volleyball coach SHAWN GANTER. Ring announcer: "CAROLINA" JIM TITUS. Security director: BILL MILLER. Timekeeper at the bell: JEFF AMDUR. Referees for the evening: LARRY PEACE and the inexplicably incredibly popular TOM. Taping the event: the gang from SMART MARK VIDEO: MIKE BURNS and GLENN BOYLE. Doing commentary for the video production: RECKLESS YOUTH and JEFF GORMAN. Among the spectators were wrestlers ADAM FLASH and DOUG FLEX, valet GABRIELA LEIGH, and managers BARRY CASINO and STYN. MATCH 1: In a high-flying opener, FUMAR (who is no longer wrestling with a mask-then again, it might be a case of "Where have I been?" pinned JOHN "THE PAISANO" BALSAMO at the 9:30 mark with a top rope leg drop and press. MATCH 2: TWIGGY RAMIREZ & BLIND RAGE scored the pin fall victory over BEAUTY & THE BEAST (MARSHAL LAW & LOVE BUG) in 10:59. The end came after Twiggy choke slammed Bug and then threw his partner Rage onto him for the pin. MATCH 3: In a battle of the giants, T RANTULA pinned "REDNECK" BILLY REDWOOD after a power bomb in 7:54. This was one of the rare occasions where the Redneck has stepped into the ring to face someone bigger than he is. MATCH 4: "HOT COMMODITY" JULIO DINERO pinned DENNIS GREGORY (with "HOT SHOT" DREW LAZARIO) in 10:27. The crowd quickly got on Gregory and Lazario's case, not believing Drew when he produced a copy of the latest "Us" magazine featuring Drew and Dennis on the cover. In fact, rather than seeing the two as "Us" cover material, the spectators likened the two to a "lady of the evening" and one of the Three Stooges, as they continuously chanted "Ho! Moe! Ho! Moe!" in their direction. The end came when Gregory held Dinero so that Lazario could throw powder in his face. Julio instead kicked the powder back in Lazario's face. The blinded manager then stunnered his own man by mistake. Julio then flung Dennis to the mat and pinned him. During intermission, wrestlers were out signing autographs, and MIKE QUACKENBUSH was selling and autographing copies of his recently published book "Headquarters". For further information on the book, you can access www.mikequackenbush.com. MATCH 5: "RAMBLIN" RICH MYERS used some trickery to score the pin in a three-way dance over TOMMY IDOL and DINO DIVINE as he pinned Dino while placing his feet on the middle rope for leverage. The fans, who had been heckling referee LARRY PEACE all evening for not being the eerily-popular other referee TOM, spewed even more venom in the direction of Larry. SASHA then came out, accompanied by her charge, JAKE DANIELS. She told the crowd that Jake had received a gushing:"We love you" fan letter from all the members of the Exeter High volleyball team. Objecting to this characterization was varsity volleyball coach SHAWN GANTER, who left the sound table to come to the ring to dispute their statement. He said that there indeed was a wrestler's picture in the girls' team's locker room; but it was a poster of MIKE QUACKENBUSH, not of Daniels. Jake responded by telling the coach to "get your pudgy [gluteus maximus] out of the ring", further saying that Reading and Exeter High were "garbage" before delivering a knockout punch that left the poor coach unconscious in the ring. BROCK SINGLETON joined Daniels in the ring to stomp on the prone coach. MIKE QUACKENBUSH came to Coach Ganter's aid but was himself double-teamed by Jake and Brock. Finally, DON MONTOYA came out to even the score. Don and Quack challenged Daniels and Singleton to a tag match, which would become the main event for the evening. MATCH 6: EARL "THE PEARL", whose dancing skills were not appreciated by the citizens of Exeter High School, impressed them much more with his wrestling skills as he pinned "SODA POP" RONNIE ZUKKO in 5:06 after delivering what could be called a "shake, rattle and Pearll". MATCH 7: "LIGHTNING" MIKE QUACKENBUSH & DON MONTOYA (with TWO MEMBERS OF THE VOLLEYBALL TEAM) pinned JAKE DANIELS & BROCK SINGLETON (with SASHA) in 19:10 of nonstop action. Quack and Montoya scored a double pin with simultaneous sunset flips. As for the names of the two volleyball players, there was a boy and girl who were introduced as "CHRIS & ERIN" (or were they "CHRIS & AARON".
