After lots of work and countless hours, we're getting close to opening up the newest feature on the site...

The Indy Wrestling News Results Database!

What is that exactly? It's a fully searchable database featuring results from as many events we can possibly find! Want to see the results of every Ring of Honor event? They are instantly available at your finger tips. Want to find shows where your favorite wrestler appeared? Not a problem! It's as easy as typing in a wrestlers name or clicking on your wrestler of choice!

In the next few weeks we'll be opening the database to the public. Before doing that we are attempting to add all the results we've gotten from 2008. From there we will continue adding current results, as well as older results dating back as far as we can find them. We will slowly begin phasing out the results section in favor of the database, while continuing to post show reports in the newswire. This will stop us from having to add the results both to the newswire and results section, which was the only way we could get the events to be listed by date, and should help the site run faster and more efficiently.

So what will it really be like? Let's show you two examples:

Event results will be displayed like this. Each wrestler and team can be clicked on, which brings you to their results record.

When you click on a wrestler it brings you to their profile page which displays all their matches in the database.

As progress is made and the opening gets closer, we'll keep you updated and give you status updates. If you would like to become involved in this project we are very open to having help, as this is no doubt a very ambitious effort.
